Thank you for this video. Just when I was thinking about gpa this came up. ❤ High school is definitely like a marathon. Need to have a consistent and good pace to reach the end goal.
What if I get a 3.8 to 4.0 unweighted GPA in an Early College HS (no AP or IB) where I get a 2 yrs associates in Y1 and Y2 (11th and 12th) and some college credits (like AP, same difficulty or similar curriculum to AP, too) from the 9th and 10th grade classes?
Hi, I am a student in 8th grade and did algebra 1, and physical science last year and my grades were 3.3 and 3.5, I had no motivation. Can I still save myself and get into Yale?
Im trying to grow my 4.37 gpa from freshman year to a 4.6+ gpa in sophomore year, I’m taking 1 reg, 5 hnrs, and 1 ap first sem and second sem it’s 1 reg 4 hnrs and 2 ap.
What is a nice set of out of school activities to have when applying to colleges? (Nothing too crazy like startups and nothing to simple like debate club.)
whatever you have going on, make it bigger, better, more recognized. whether it's through awards or competitions make it "legit". i don't like giving out a set of ECs to do because that makes you look like the same as the other 250,000 other applicants, hope that helps 🙏
if you've only taken mostly regular classes and one higher level weighted class and have a weighted gpa of 4.1, then take all AP / honors / IB classes and get all A's, you could replicate similar results but not as high as 4.6
Hi Shinwoo! I really need some assistance! I am creating a Biomedical club, but am out of ideas on what to do in the club. I’m thinking of starting something with the local hospital, but i’m not sure. Could you help me out? Also, I commented a few weeks ago about starting a science olympiad club, and it’s in the works!! Now i’m working on posters/forms to recruit members!
What year are you in first? If you are in year 1 or 2 then you are still able to find extracurriculars. Also, what is the definition of average gpa like a 3.5 is still pretty good. You still have time unless you are a senior. Find what you like or passionate about and try to make a community project out of it.
i don't get why you're assuming that you'd get a B without taking the class yet, it is 100% possible for anyone to get A's even in the most rigorous classes as long as they put the time in, trust me. I'd go for it
Funny how I got this video recommended to me the day my midterm grade book closes

Is it possible to increase my GPA from a 4.1 to a 4.6 in my junior year?

What should I do if I have an average gpa and no ecs?

I have a question, is it worth taking an AP class if I know im going to get a B in it? (AP Lit)
